New Version of Sudafed May Help Curb Meth Production

Pfizer is introducing a new version of its popular over-the-counter decongestant, Sudafed. The new product, Sudafed PE, cannot be used to make illegal methamphetamines; the old version will continue to be made, but Oklahoma has enacted restrictions on its sale and other states are considering the same action.
